We had a great weekend! Added a new pet to the family, a goat, named Mickey! My daughter, Desiree' already has him spoiled!
We enjoyed spending some time with my cousins that I don't get to see to often on Saturday. Sunday, we had a wonderful sermon, being the leaders that we should be, are we leading our family, friends, etc. in a way that would be pleasing to God? We need to make sure we go to God in prayer about EVERYTHING, then there are no worries! Went to MMA class last night, the Bible lesson was about putting your trust in God, so you don't have to worry because He will take care of everything! So here we are, a new week, I prepared clean foods yesterday afternoon for this week, it makes eating clean so much easier when you can prepare your foods for the week in one day! I made Blueberry-Banana Oatmeal Muffins from (http://www.eatcleandiet.com/the_kitchen_table/recipe/recipe.aspx?id=1256) for a quick grab for breakfast on busy mornings. Peanut Butter Protein Bars, (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/docs/2011/peanut-butter-protein-bars.pdf) for snack,
and a loaf of clean honey wheat bread for lunches!
I can't believe it, less than 2 weeks till Rugged Maniac!! 12 days to be exact! My hubby and I have been training, but I still feel like I'm not ready! It is coming up so fast...excited and nervous at the same time! Our workout for today will be P90X ~ Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X.

Bee Pollen Search is Over!
Wow! It has been three weeks since my first post! So much has been going on! We have been on the search for local bee pollen and FINALLY found some in Colonial Heights (that's as local as we could find)! Why Bee Pollen...The pollen actually can help you to build up a resistance to allergy problems. Small traces of substances that can cause hay fever and other allergies are contained in the bee pollen. This can help to build up an immunity to these allergies within the body, helping to reduce the symptoms you deal with that come as a result of allergies. I started taking it on Saturday, so we will see how well this works! But Bee Pollen isn't just good for allergies, there are so many benefits to it! My Very First Post!
Ok, so this is my very first blog post! It has been 1 year and 7 months since, my hubby, my 2 children and I left The Sunshine State (Florida), and moved to beautiful Virginia!
From the beginning...I was born and raised in Richmond, Va., met the love of my life, married and moved to Florida! We were living the dream! 12 years later, we felt that we were being led to move back to Virginia, so here we are. We left our jobs, family, friends, and a church we loved! We had the idea that we would be living in the city, close to everything...but God had different plans for us. We are now in the middle of nowhere, New Canton, Virginia, far away from everything! My husband is now the Pastor of a wonderful church here, our children attend the Church's school and we live in the parsonage. We were so scared to make the move, but it has been Amazing! God has provided for us.
I teach third grade, and do cake decorating. We live a clean eating lifestyle, (hard to do when making cakes) and are learning about being self sufficient. We are currently raising a rooster and 4 chickens (for eggs), and we plan to have a garden this year. But we have a lot to learn! So here we go!
